Consent to document reading with artificial intelligence

What happens to the document
When you upload a document — a diet, the canteen menu, a recipe, a photo of a menu, a text — Wenu sends it to Anthropic PBC, in the United States, which reads it with the Claude model and sends back the items of the week. The items reach you as suggestions: they enter the plan only when you confirm them.
- Together with the document we send the names of the plan’s diners, the day of the week and today’s date; we do not send your email, your account name or the plan’s place.
- Photos are shrunk by the phone, which also removes their location data.
- Anthropic acts on our behalf, does not use the document to train its models and deletes it within 30 days (up to 2 years only if its safety systems flag it), under the data processing agreement accepted on 24 October 2026.
- We do not keep the document: it is never written to disk or to the database. The items read stay on the server for at most one hour, for the preview.
Health data
A diet may say something about the health of the person following it (an intolerance, a medical condition). By accepting, you expressly authorise us to process this data for the sole purpose of reading the document and suggesting the items to you (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).
Upload only menus, diets and recipes and, if you can, remove what the week does not need: names of doctors, diagnoses, test results.
If you change your mind
The consent is optional and you can withdraw it from the Profile at any time: from then on documents are no longer read, while the items already added stay in the plan. Without the consent, voice, written text and the rest of the app work all the same.
